EAST ASIA

Joel and Liz report that the two conferences in Thailand went well (2/1). Praise God that the Asian missions-sending movement continues to grow, with important issues being discussed among the national international missions leaders.

TAIWAN

Two sisters of Miss F, Victory Hakka Fellowship, have shown an interest in attending church. They have seen Miss F’s faith and the difference it has made in her life. Pray that they will grow in understanding the gospel.

CHAD

Nathanael writes, “Praise God that we have been much more healthy this year than the previous two years in Chad.” Pray for strength and health for Carrie during her pregnancy in this hottest time of the year. Happy birthday to Carrie today.

JAPAN

Pray for Dean and Linda Bengtson and their church planting work in Ishinomaki. Pray for Pastor Satoh, New Life LBC, Sendai, as he continues leading a study with a group on, “Good Relationships and the Bible.”

N. AMERICA

Praise God for Stephen and Sandra’s service in their role of Serve Asia Coordinator.  Pray for direction as they consider their next steps in God’s mission after handing over their role to someone else.

TAIWAN

China Lutheran Seminary is holding a series of lectures today entitled, “A New Perspective on Ethnic Outreach.” Pray for Ethan Christofferson as he participates and also gives two lectures.

CHAD

Nathanael asks prayer for Benoît, a young man who was injured while working at their house. He is doing well, but full recovery will take some time. Happy 3rd birthday to Adelynn today.

EAST ASIA

Liz asks prayer for two Christian friends fighting for justice in the courts after their apartment building was illegally demolished (10/7). One who was illegally imprisoned was released in Oct. They still have not received a just hearing or compensation. Pray for God’s provision for these two sisters and their family members.

N. AMERICA

Roger Olson writes, “Thank God for Mari K. who visited us recently and gave her testimony of how she came to saving faith after she returned to Japan in 2015.” Pray for continued spiritual growth.
