JAPAN

Former Japan missionary Bob Hosmer is spending three weeks at Ishinomaki House of Hope. Pray for a continuation of relationships with neighbors whom he met last year. Pray that God will give him opportunities to share the gospel.

N. AMERICA

Roger and Sue Olson of Japanese Ministries, Rock of Ages LBC, ask for prayer that God will open the hearts of the 54 new students that will arrive in Seattle today for a 10-month ESL program. Pray for opportunities to share the gospel in word and deed.

N. AMERICA

Joel and Liz have a heavy travel schedule for sharing with churches and individuals about what God is doing in East Asia. Pray that God would be glorified and supporters encouraged by what God is doing globally.

TAIWAN

Tomorrow is Tomb Sweeping Day in Taiwan. Pray for Christians as they gather with relatives who will perform rituals to venerate ancestors. Pray for opportunities for Christians to share the gospel.

FRANCE

Pray for Danny and Mandy and their boys who are currently in France. Pray for good health for Mandy during her last month of pregnancy. Pray for Danny’s continued Arabic study, and for adjustments for the three older boys as they return to the French school system. Happy 2nd birthday to Samuel today.

CHAD

Paul and Teresa praise God that the chief’s gift of land was legally drawn up and notarized, with witnesses from the village, another mission agency, an NGO and a representative of the association of evangelical churches and missions in Chad. All went smoothly and on time!

JAPAN

Pray for Pastor Kaneta who is charged with leading the seminary. Pray for innovative ways to be found to get education for ministry to more people, that more leaders might be raised up for the church.

FRANCE

Danny and Mandy are returning to Albertville for the birth of their 5th boy (due 5/8). Pray for good health for the family and for a safe delivery for Mandy. Pray for their other boys as they take a break from homeschooling and return to the classroom.

TAIWAN

Last fall, when church leaders heard about the famine in Chad, they wanted to help. They met obstacles as they tried sending money out of Taiwan, but these were overcome. Praise God for their eagerness to help and to pray for famine relief in Chad.

JAPAN

Pray that God will break down barriers that keep the Japanese from understanding and receiving the gospel. Pray also that Dean and Linda Bengtson find increasing favor in their neighborhood and be able to share the gospel unhindered. Happy birthday today to Dean.
