N. AMERICA

Joel Nordtvedt reports that a Chinese student at Arizona State University was shot and killed in a road rage incident. Pray for the grieving family and for other international students who now are concerned for their own safety.

TAIWAN

Pray for Hannah, daughter of Ethan and Sandy Christofferson, as she is in her busy last months of her senior year at Morrison Academy. Happy 18th birthday to Hannah!

CHAD

Paul and Teresa will relocate this summer to an unreached village. Pray for their continued studies of Arabic, and pray that their new home might be ready for them before rainy season.

JAPAN

Today is the annual meeting of the Japan Lutheran Brethren Church.  Pray for inspiration as the synod deals with multiple challenges, and for President Takayama as he seeks to lead with wisdom and vision.

TAIWAN

April 5th is a day when families in Taiwan gather to pray for their ancestors. Tomorrow, Enlin LB Church hosts an ancestor memorial service, providing Christians with a biblical way to honor their ancestors. Pray as believers invite non-Christians to attend this memorial service.

N. AMERICA

Pray for Dan Venberg as he recruits churches and individuals to participate in God’s mission in Chad. Pray for safety as he leads teams from North American LB churches on vision trips to Chad.

TAIWAN

Pray for Ethan Christofferson as he studies the Bible with Mr. D. Pray that as he settles into a new job, he can continue to attend worship services with his wife and trust Christ for salvation.

JAPAN

Pray for the ministry of the Japan LB Seminary and for Pastors Koki Zeniya and Kiyoshi Taguchi as they continue theological education in order to serve as faculty. Pray for new students to register for studies through the seminary as a new semester begins.

N. AMERICA

Roger and Susan Olson of Japanese Ministries in Seattle ask prayer for Mizuki, who received baptism last November, and has returned to Japan. Pray that she and other returning Japanese students will find church homes where they can grow in faith.

TAIWAN

China Lutheran Seminary is hosting a lay training session today on the importance of the Word of God.  Pray that those who attend will gain fresh insights and new appreciation for God’s Word.
