Today China Lutheran Seminary celebrates its 50th year, and the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Pray that God will be glorified and that the churches will be encouraged to be faithful to the message of God’s Word.

JAPAN

Pray for Christian artist and song writer Kosaka Chu who is giving concerts in Ishinomaki this weekend, October 29-30. He is well known and loved, speaking God’s Word from his heart. Pray for all who attend.

TAIWAN

Mr. Tian, a Christian at Enlin LBC, has scaled back his work load so he can be more involved in an evangelistic visitation ministry. Pray that God would give him wisdom as he serves as a witness where few have heard the gospel.

JAPAN

Pray for those in the Japan CLB who will hear God’s call to service full-time in church work. Pray for those who will fill the need in the churches as older pastors continue to retire.

Pray for couples/families who are preparing for future ministry through LBIM. Pray that God would give us a heart for those without Christ and call those who can support them with their giving and with prayer.

Heidi Jensen spoke about her Eyes to See, Ears to Hear conversational English curriculum at a conference for church-based ESL programs in Washington DC. Pray that churches will use this faith-based curriculum to share Christ with international friends.

Pray for Dan in his travels to Chad and his work with the church there. Pray for the Living Waters well project which churches/individuals here have been funding. Pray that God would use these wells to open villages to the gospel.
