Pray for Pastor Zeniya, his wife Keiko and two children, as he pastors a church in Sendai. Pray that God will use them to inspire believers to reach out to their family and friends with the gospel.
Tomorrow is the dedication and thanksgiving service for the opening of the new Hakka Seminary building. Pray that workers will be effectively trained to go forth and preach the gospel.
Pray for Nathanael and Carrie and their four children on home assignment. Pray for good travels and safety as they visit churches to share about their work in Chad.
Pray for Jean and Jacqueline, future ministry partners with Paul and Teresa, as they leave the churches they have overseen and begin further training to minister to unreached Chadians. Praise God for their willingness to join in this ministry.
For the next two weeks, Mike Kittelson’s sister and husband, Kathy and Ken Kvenild, will be visiting Taiwan. Pray for safe travels and enjoyable family times.
A new law governing NGO’s, such as the one Joel C. leads, goes into effect Jan. 1st. Pray for wisdom in how to prepare for any possible negative impact from this law. It could prove to be an obstacle but it could also bring new opportunities.
Dean and Linda Bengtson ask prayer “that God’s power will break the enemy strongholds in our neighborhood. There are many things holding people in bondage, but God is stronger.” Pray also that God would use Dean and Linda to advance his mission.
Pray for Ethan and Sandy Christofferson during this year of home assignment. Pray for restful time with family and friends and also opportunities to share about their work among the Hakka with churches in North America.
Pray for Jeremy, Sallee, Olivia and Abigail as they have now fully assumed the administration of the Lutheran Welcome Center. Pray for continuing language acquisition and positive relationships with the Chadians who work alongside them. Happy 16th birthday Olivia!
